The Youngest Island Boy is off visiting his grandparents so I got the other kids off to school this morning and decided to take the day off and spend it at the beach. The Island King and I haven't been to the beach without the kids in ages so we packed the cooler and went out to the Pass. It was a gorgeous day! We watched herons catching fish, walked out to the jetties and spent a lot of time just sitting and watching the waves. 
I guess this heron was drying his wings but he looked so funny that I had to get his picture
