Noriego Point Waves

We also walked out to the end of Holiday Isle today to see what the waves were like on Noriego Point.
East Pass Towers Condominium has absolutely no beach today.

These waves are breaking inside of the Pass over the sea wall that protects the point

This Heron was standing right on the inside of the sea wall

While we were watching him a big wave came up behind him and almost soaked him

He flew away, squawking at the top of his lungs

The Oldest Island Boy wanted to get wet

I did not LOL

He never did get really wet because I wouldn't let him get too close to the wall but he still had fun

It was a long day and we probably walked 10 miles but it was fun to watch the waves, especially since the hurricane that's causing them isn't coming here.

We're praying for those in Ike's path and hope that things turn out ok for them!
