White Point Kayaking

We spent Sunday afternoon kayaking around White Point.

Our first destination was Pippin Lake which is about 3/4 of a mile from the point.

We paddled over to the cut leading from Choctawhatchee Bay into the lake.

Lake Pippin is is so peaceful and beautiful.

The Youngest Island Boy felt it too.

My husband and children have quite a bit of Creek Indian in them and every once in a while they tell me they can feel it.

I love that!

Unfortunately, a quick look at the radar showed that the clouds we were watching were bringing a nasty little squall our way and the Island King wanted to be back at our spot on the beach before it got to us.

We made it back to the beach, the squall came through and then a beautiful rainbow appeared.

Time to paddle the other direction for a while.

I love paddling into a sunset.

Every day should end like this one.
