Our dog, Jake, died last night.
We knew it was coming, he was 14, mostly deaf, mostly blind
and had arthritis in his legs.
He wasn’t in any pain but we could tell he wasn’t going to
be here much longer and just before midnight he left for the Rainbow Bridge
We’re all sad but know he's gone on to a better place.
Goodbye for now, Jake. We’ll see you again one day.

I am sorry. Even when you are expecting it, it is still very hard.
