Sometimes I get the spot next to it with my everyday car, and if so, then my husband will park his motorcycle behind the bus. If he takes the spot next to the bus though, I park in the driveway.Dallashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06536609960949971728noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6156496346598841450.post-53363195176006116922008-08-19T07:00:00.000-05:002008-08-19T07:00:00.000-05:00I love the gull picture. As to the parking I have m...I love the gull picture.
As to the parking I have my spot that no one else in the family would dare take!!ChrisBhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06958330170295676200noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6156496346598841450.post-9748763388234867792008-08-18T23:44:00.000-05:002008-08-18T23:44:00.000-05:00I have to park in a different place everytime beca...I have to park in a different place everytime because if I don't, the chipmunks build nests under the hood and in the air conditioning/heating vents.

Why do we park on a driveway and drive on a parkway?Swampwitchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01264842305941523035noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6156496346598841450.post-24201622196452670912008-08-18T23:22:00.000-05:002008-08-18T23:22:00.000-05:00I park anywhere I please since mine is the only ca...I park anywhere I please since mine is the only car in the driveway. He says to back you car in the drive so that in the morning you can just go straight forward, literally and mentally, first off in the morning. It actually works.

Birds talking about? It will run our fridge and TV and fans at least. We cannot open our windows at night due to sandgnats. My son was a freshman at UWF during Ivan. Husband parks in the middle. Youngest son parks on the left. When oldest son is home, he now has to park in the yard under a big oak as there is no more room in the driveway. And yes, it bugs me if someone parks in my spot, but it bugs my husband more. He likes everything lined up nice and neat and even fusses if youngest backs in.Island Riderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04338707720934732800noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6156496346598841450.post-23821184709873062152008-08-18T20:12:00.000-05:002008-08-18T20:12:00.000-05:00Are you OK? I saw the news for the first time this morning and thought about you!

I've been offline for a week and finally got everything to work yesterday. Yea! Then my cousin died. This morning I had to head up to 3 Rivers which is near the entrance of Sequoia National Park. I'm sitting here in the hotel waiting to go to the rosary tonight and then the funeral tomorrow.
In answer to your question:
In my case, sides don't matter. We have a short side in the garage (the left side) which I usually park in because Oyaji's wood working tools take up part of the space, and he has a huge truck that needs the full length of the garage.

However, when he has "stuff" in the garage -- currently train stuff and boxes from his mom's house -- I park in whichever side does not have the junk. Since it's his stuff, I don't have a qualm about putting my car on "his" side. His truck can just stay outside until he gets rid of the "stuff". ;0pKivahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01171025882133782540noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6156496346598841450.post-61495504065669248912008-08-18T19:55:00.000-05:002008-08-18T19:55:00.000-05:00Husband and I both park in the driveway due to the...Husband and I both park in the driveway due to the old Mustand and junk that resides in our garage.

The spot on the right hand side is the most coveted, but I'm not sure why!Big Mommahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05296694230531974135noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6156496346598841450.post-33492958910244664012008-08-18T19:00:00.000-05:002008-08-18T19:00:00.000-05:00Cool birds!I park my car on the right side of the ...Cool birds!

I park my car on the right side of the driveway. However, my husband's parking is. The car is supposed to go into the garage. Not in the drive way in front of the garage. Not halfway up the driveway under the tree to 'keep it cool'. What is he talking about, it's always cooler in the garage. It just totally drives me nuts.
