Our Cub Scout Family Christmas Party was the other night and the kids had so much fun.
They started by posting the colors - which always makes the boys who get to do it feel special. Which always makes me feel good that our boys take pride in the American flag.
The Packmaster gathered them around and explained what they'd be doing for the evening.
There was a lot of eating
There was a table set up for them to decorate cards to send to soldiers
Christmas ornaments to make
Cookies to decorate
Snowmen to toss bean bags at
Reindeer to toss hula-hoops over
A little putting
The Tiger Cubs sang We Wish You a Merry Christmas
And a lot of basketball playing
The boys had a good time and the parents got to visit a little. It was a nice night and seemed to get everyone in the holiday spirit.
