The Island Girl is home from college for the holiday. She
gets to stay an entire week – which I couldn’t be happier about.
Her and
Cruella Deville got in Saturday night and were soon
joined by their friend Maleficent.
A bonfire and some ‘smores in the backyard sounded like a
good idea so we sat around the fire and caught up for a while.
It’s so strange how much they’ve all changed in such a short
time. Those high school teenagers have turned into young adults.
I’m a little sad but also very happy for them at the same
time.
We visited for a while and then they were off – out to do
whatever college kids do on a Saturday night.
I didn’t like her going so far away to college but it sure
does make her home comings sweet.
